Turkish insurance industry aims to create 15,000 new jobs in 2026. Digital competence is at the forefront.
Turkish Insurance Association (TSB) announced that the sector plans to create 15,000 new jobs in 2026. It was stated that digital competence and data analytics skills will be at the forefront in new positions.
Areas of Employment
Distribution of new employment:
- Digital and IT: 5,000 positions
- Actuarial and data analytics: 2,500 positions
- Sales and marketing: 4,000 positions
- Damage and operation: 3,500 positions
Educational Programs
The industry plans to update the curriculum of insurance departments by collaborating with universities. Internship programs and job-guaranteed training projects are also on the agenda.
Current Status of the Industry
Approximately 65,000 people are currently directly employed in the Turkish insurance industry. Including employees in agencies and brokers, this figure exceeds 120,000.
