TSB's 2025 Employment Report reveals that the sector reached employment of 27 thousand 757 people and reinforced its sustainable growth with its young, educated and female-dominated structure.

Insurance Sector Invests in the Future While Increasing Employment

TSB Secretary General Özgür Obalı said, "Our young and qualified human resources are the strongest guarantee of the sustainable growth of our sector." As of 2025, the total number of employees in insurance companies reached 27 thousand 757 people, while the sector maintained its stable growth trend.

According to the report, the sector; It stands out with its young and dynamic workforce, high education level and strong female representation. While a significant portion of the employees are between the ages of 26-45, the rate of employees with a university or higher education level reaches 80%. The fact that the rate of female employees is at 56% is among the important factors that strengthen the inclusive and balanced structure of the sector.

In his evaluation of the report, Özgür Obalı, Secretary General of the Insurance Association of Turkey, emphasized that the sector is not only growing, but also in a transformation that invests in the future, and said: "The insurance sector, while steadily increasing its employment, also exhibits a more balanced and sustainable growth structure. At the point we have reached today, we are in a position that prioritizes not only numerical increase but also the quality of employment." We see that the structure is strengthening. The high rate of female employment and the strong representation of the young workforce in the sector reveal a significant potential for the future.

Our highly educated human resources are of strategic importance for the development of our sector and innovative transformation processes. As we progress in areas such as digitalization, customer focus and new generation insurance applications, this qualified workforce will continue to be our greatest strength.

We will focus not on increasing employment, but on bringing young talents to the sector, strengthening employee loyalty and creating an ecosystem that supports career development."

Obalı congratulated all employees on the occasion of May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day and said: "The biggest share in the point the insurance industry has reached today belongs to our employees who create value with their labor.
