AXA Turkey's Values Partner Tuna Tunca Successfully Crossed the Northern Channel on Ocean's 7 Voyage!
AXA Türkiye's "Values Partner" ultra marathon swimmer Tuna Tunca, who represents the power of neurodiversity, successfully completed the North Channel, one of the stages of the Ocean's 7 series, which is among the most challenging open water challenges in the world.

Tuna Tunca completed the approximately 40-kilometer North Channel passage, which started from the Donaghadee region of Northern Ireland, in 15 hours and 47 minutes, accompanied by an average water temperature of 14°C and strong currents, and reached the Port Patrick coast of Scotland. The course, where variable weather conditions, strong winds and density of jellyfish make swimming difficult at times, is considered one of the most challenging stages of the Ocean's 7 series. Tunca added another important success to his open water swimming career by successfully completing this challenging challenge.
AXA Turkey, which has accompanied Tuna Tunca's Ocean's 7 voyage as a Values Partner since 2025, continues to support the athlete's courage, determination and struggle beyond borders. This success achieved by Tuna Tunca stands out as an inspiring indicator of determination, inclusiveness and individual potential.
Completing one more step towards the Ocean's 7 goal with the passage of the English Channel, the Strait of Gibraltar and the Northern Channel, Tuna Tunca will continue its journey covering the world's most challenging open water courses.
AXA Turkey will continue to stand by Tuna Tunca's inspiring story as a Values Partner.
