“Tripole Türkiye”
Zülfü Livaneli's 35-Year-Old "Early Warning" Signals Have Been Published in a Book

Zülfü Livaneli, the master name of Turkish literature, music and thought, brings together his original theory and predictions about Turkey's social structure, which he has developed since the 1990s, under the title of "Three Poles Turkey". The book contains vital warnings about the future while mirroring the last thirty years of Turkey.
Reading the Future
In this book, Livaneli analyzes the tendencies of society not only with data but with a deep intuition. The book reveals with evidence (concrete examples) how Turkey has broken away from the traditional right-left distinction and turned into a structure attracted by three main magnets on the axis of political Islam, Turkish nationalism and the Kurdish movement.
According to Livaneli, this situation has dragged our country not only into a political competition but also into a much more dangerous emotional divide.
From Kissinger to the Ancient Culture of Anatolia
In the work, There are strategic confessions made by Livaneli with Henry Kissinger based on the "Ottoman map" that determined the fate of the Middle East, and striking anecdotes including Yaşar Kemal. The book points to Anatolia's ancient culture of compromise, the founding values of the Republic and its democratization, the recognition of individual and group rights, the principles of a constitutional state of law and human rights that secure everyone, as the antidote to polarization.
Tripolar Turkey, published by the Livaneli Foundation, was prepared for publication by Selçuk Avar with the contributions of İnkılâp Kitabevi, by scanning the columns written by Zülfü Livaneli since the early 1990s. It is clearly seen that it is polarized and emotionally divided into three. The main danger of this situation is that the two structures (right and left) that can differ in modern political fields such as economic policies, foreign policy and culture are replaced by religious, ethnic and nationalist divisions dating back thousands of years. Such divisions can threaten the integrity of the country and lead to a potential division. We oppose the division of the country and demand that all segments of society in Türkiye are treated as first-class citizens in accordance with human rights, that the judiciary is applied equally to everyone, and that their cultural rights are recognized. We advocated for respect. This approach, which was described as 'separatism' at the time and which we were accused of, was actually an effort to build a democratic, more integrated, modern and developed Turkey. Recently, Turkey has been awash with the formulas of bringing the three poles together, but this would require going through more difficult and complex paths than in the past."
