Record profitability in the first quarter from Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik
Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik, the leading companies in the Insurance and Life Pension sector, continued their strong growth in the first quarter and achieved a total net profit of 11.7 billion TL.

Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik reached record profitability in the first quarter of the year, in line with their strong financial structure and sustainable growth strategy. While Türkiye Sigorta increased its net profit to 6 billion 429 million TL in the first quarter of 2026, with an increase of 42 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik also reached a net profit of 5 billion 325 million TL, with an increase of 52 percent. Thus, the two companies achieved record profitability with a total net profit of 11 billion 755 million TL in the first quarter.
Türkiye Sigorta achieved a technical profit of 6 billion 891 million TL, an increase of 30 percent compared to the same period last year, while Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik achieved a technical profit of 2 billion 827 million TL, an increase of 52 percent. While Türkiye Sigorta's return on equity ratio was 48 percent, Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik showed a strong performance of 63 percent in this field.

They underlined that in line with their vision of fighting inflation and accessible insurance, they did not increase the prices of individual motor insurance and health insurance in the first quarter of this year and provided ease of payment to their insured with the opportunity of 12 installments. Taha Çakmak, in his evaluation of the first quarter financial results, stated that they continued to strengthen their balance sheets with sustainable growth and high profitability performance, and that Türkiye Sigorta managed to keep its combined ratio at 90.26 percent and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik's at 62 percent in the first quarter.
Çakmak continued his words as follows: "Türkiye Sigorta increased its asset size by 17.3 percent to 184 billion 146 million TL in the first quarter of this year compared to the end of 2025, and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik increased by 6.3 percent to 584 billion 263 million TL. It is publicly traded with a market value of 3.3 billion dollars." In addition to being a strong company, we are proud to be the only insurance company in BIST 50. As Türkiye Sigorta, we will distribute cash dividends worth 3 billion TL. At the same time, we are increasing our capital from 10 billion TL to 20 billion TL.
