In mountain biking, Sakarya, Erzurum, Bursa, Nevşehir, Rize and Kahramanmaraş will host world-class athletes with their technical tracks and natural structures.

Road Bicycle Stands Out in All Categories in the 2026 Season

2026 will attract attention with an intense and ambitious racing calendar throughout Turkey for the road cycling branch. Single-day and staged road cycling races to be held in different cities throughout the season will offer athletes the opportunity to compete on challenging tracks where they can demonstrate their speed, endurance and tactical skills. The Presidential Turkey Cycling Tour, one of the symbol organizations of Turkish cycling, will be held between 26 April and 3 May and will once again be on the world cycling agenda with the participation of international teams.

In addition, organizations such as the Tour of Mersin, Tour of Istanbul, Tour of Samsun and Tour of Kahramanmaraş bring international competition in road cycling to Turkey; Türkiye Cup Points Road Races, Turkish Road Championship and Regional Races will be organized with wide participation for male and female athletes in different age categories. Konya, the rising power of Turkey in track cycling, continues to reinforce its central position in this branch in the 2026 season. Konya Olympic Velodrome received full marks from international cycling authorities by hosting the European Track Cycling Championship, which was successfully held between 1-5 February with the participation of 315 athletes from 30 countries, with its high-level organizational ability and modern infrastructure. The organization, which hosted Europe's best track cyclists for five days and broke world records, once again revealed Konya's vision of becoming the "capital of cycling" in track cycling.

Cycling Tourism in Turkey is Strengthening with the Gran Fondo Series

Gran Fondo races will bring amateur and professional cycling enthusiasts together at the same starting line with organizations to be held in different cities of Turkey in the 2026 season.Races will be held in important destinations such as Marmaris, Konya, Zonguldak, Ankara, Yalova, Istanbul, Çanakkale and Çeşme throughout the season extending from Bodrum to Kemer, Bursa to Samsun; It will offer participants the opportunity to both compete in sports and pedal on natural and cultural routes. These organizations, held all over Turkey, will contribute to the spread of cycling sports and will also provide significant support to the development of sports tourism.

Among the prominent organizations of the 2026 Gran Fondo calendar are races with high international brand value. While the L'Étape by Tour de France races, the amateur series of the Tour de France brand, will be held in Marmaris and Istanbul, the UCI Gran Fondo Antalya, which will be held towards the final of the season, will be one of the important organizations that will bring together athletes from around the world in Turkey.

Mountain biking will be in the 2026 season with races that stand out with natural tracks and stages with high levels of technical difficulty. It will bring together its enthusiasts. Organizations to be held in different geographies such as Erzurum, Rize, Sakarya, Bursa, Nevşehir, Malatya, Kahramanmaraş and Antalya throughout the season will offer athletes the opportunity to compete on courses that require high competition, intertwined with nature. These national and international races will make a significant contribution to the spread of mountain biking throughout Turkey and the development of athletes in different age categories.

Sakarya Bicycle Valley, one of the symbolic centers of mountain biking, will be one of the most striking points of the calendar by hosting international organizations in 2026. The world's leading teams and athletes will compete in Turkey in high-level organizations to be held in the Eliminator branch; Names that have achieved worldwide success in mountain biking will be determined on these tracks.

The 2026 calendar also includes preparation camps and international races that the Turkish National Cycling Team will participate in both in the country and abroad in the road, track, mountain and para cycling branches.
