Istanbul, 11.03.2026 – Amazon Turkey volunteer team voluntarily participated in the food preparation and distribution activities during Ramadan of Çorbada Tuzun Olsun Association (ÇOTUN), which operates to meet the basic needs of individuals living on the streets and reintegrate them into society. With this project, which was carried out with the motto "We change stories together" and brought the spirit of solidarity of Ramadan to the field, it contributed to meeting the basic food needs of disadvantaged individuals and increasing social awareness.
Within the scope of volunteering activities, approximately 50 Amazon Turkey employees from all levels, from senior managers to interns, entered the professional kitchen of the association by saying #AmazonHerSofrada. The teams worked shoulder to shoulder with experienced personnel within the framework of hygiene rules and standard recipes, working at every stage of the hot meal preparation process.
After intense kitchen preparations, Amazon Turkey volunteers also took part in the food distribution operation in the evening. With the support of volunteers, hot meals were distributed to approximately 500 people in just five days. At the end of the day, volunteers also supported the cleaning and organizing efforts to prepare the association for the next day.
This collaboration, which established a strong bridge of love between different segments of the society, turned the #AmazonHerSofrada vision into reality and became a meaningful example for the social responsibility work of brands.

Çorbada Tuzun Olsun Association was established in 2017 to produce sustainable solutions to the problem of homelessness, raise awareness about people living on the streets, provide their basic needs and reintegrate them into society.
